Doctor cautions about a sleep position that is among the ‘worst’ for your health.

Yup, you have probably been sleeping wrong

Getting sufficient sleep can significantly impact your health and wellbeing, but a physician has cautioned that certain positions are not beneficial for you.

I regret to inform you that you may need to alter your sleeping habits since you may have been doing it incorrectly.

At least that’s the perspective of one specialist who has cautioned against specific sleeping positions.

While you might assume that merely achieving enough hours will maintain your health, the quality of those hours holds importance as well.

Dr. Tim Mercer, an NHS GP partner and trainer with Opera Beds in the UK, discussed the significance of positioning with respect to sleep.

Speaking to the Mirror, he remarked: “The way you sleep can greatly affect the quality of your sleep and your health, so it’s essential to find a sleep position that not only allows for restful sleep but also aids your body’s overall function and condition.”

Additionally, Mercer pointed out the ‘worst’ position to adopt while sleeping.
